Closer to 40!

Today is my birthday and as my husband so kindly pointed out, I am now closer to 40 than 30! LOL! I had a little time to be creative today and made a couple cards! The first one is for a Monochromatic Challenge on the Hero Arts Blog. The other one was just because I love these little October Afternoon cards!

Summer Craziness!

I always forget from summer to summer, how busy we get! With Tadd home (he's a teacher, in case you don't already know!) our schedule usually goes out the window and I never know from one day to the next what we are doing! He recently went on a 9 day hike in Washington with a friend. While he was gone, I managed to get some layouts, cards, and projects done.

A Mini Album

I made this mini album for a taGteam challenge at Concroption. We were sent 6 paint cards and had to use them on a layout or project. When I first saw them, I knew I wanted to use these pictures of the kids on the slip and slide. The paint cards are the solid color pages (I traced them on pp to make the other pages) and they already had the little windows and the wavy cut on the bottom.

Cocoa Daisy Daily Prompt

We are back from vacation and almost recovered from it after a week of being home! ;) It was a great week of camping! I have lots of pictures and woould love to share but my computer has been acting up and I am scared to download them! I think a new computer is in the very near future!

These pictures are for a CocoaDaisy Daily Prompt. We were to take pictures of what we did that day with our cell phones and not edit the pictures at all. Since I don't have a camera on my cell phone...I used my little digital camera that I keep in my purse. I had a girls' night out with some friends and we had some fun in a little boutique and had a wonderful dessert!
