Coburg Antique Fair and Ali Edwards

I am back from my weekend of play! It was super fun! Anna and I got to Eugene a little early so we did some shopping. I had no intention of buying anything (I would rather save my money for sb stuff!) but ended up buying a pair of red heels! Yes...red heels! Anna got them too and we plan on wearing them to Christmas dinner!

From there we went to Jill's house for a night of scrapbooking! We made a cute little book on heirlooms. I didn't get mine done but it turns out that is a good thing...I am going to make my heirloom book a bit bigger so that I can journal more! My little album is going to be an album about this weekend. It was really fun to get to meet more scrapbookers, meet Tricia from CocoaDaisy after many emails, see Emily and Jill whose blogs I read, and of course hang out with AliEdwards! Here's a picture of Ali and I. I'll admit I was a little "star struck" at first but by the end of the day it was more like hanging out with an old friend! (an old friend who is a really great scrapbooker!)

In the morning we got up at 5:00am (haven't seen that hour since I was nursing!) and met everyone in Coburg at 6:00am! When we started shopping, it was dark! Good thing there were street lights! There were tons of vendors with lots of cool stuff! I was looking for a few things and of course got more than I thought! This picture was taken at about 6:30am! Later in the day it was much more crowded!
I found this doll cradle for Erin but my mom had said awhile ago that she wanted to get one for her for her birthday so since my parents were there, they bought it.
This was a totally unexpected purchase. It is a 1930's necklace. They said it was silk glass.
I wanted a book and a dictionary to use on my sb pages. I found both. The dictionary is kind of falling apart so I will have no problem tearing it apart but the book is from 1890 and is in great condition so I'll probably be looking for another one to tear apart! The photographs album is going to be my heirloom album.
On the way home, we stopped at Goodwill in Salem because Jill had told Anna it was a good one! At the antique fair I was on the lookout for a textured bread pan to house all my journaling spots. I didn't see even one bread pan there! But I found one at Goodwill for $2.99 that was exactly what I wanted!
Now, after a good night's sleep, I can't wait to start on my antique fair book and my heirloom book! (Guess I should get off the computer!)
