End of Soccer

Isaac's first soccer season has officially ended. I have to say I was a little sad to see it end. We loved his coach and all the parents were great as well! Out of all the games, we only had rain during one! Kind of a small miracle here in Oregon! :) Can't wait until next year! I was the parent in charge of the end of the year party. I made 2 cakes for it...WAY overkill! And, because it is what I do, I made each kid and the coach a layout with pictures I took throughout the season! Then I framed them with Dollar Store frames. I liked how they turned out...very simple! I had wanted to find some patterned paper for them but I am glad I didn't...I think it would have been too busy!

Here are the cakes I made:And one of the layouts pre-frame and then one in the frame.

Love those cakes! And the layout idea! SOOOO much better than those weird preprinted scrapbook wannabe things that the photographers come up with. I hate those! They're lucky to have you.

That is so nice of you. The cakes and the layouts are great. I'm sure everyone will really appreciate them. If I had been on top of it, I'd do something like that too for my son's team, but I'm not sure I will be.
