I don't know what happened this week...not a lot of new things going on!  Erin has been sick and Isaac stayed home from school today with a cough.  Guess that is my excuse! :)  Here are some NEW cards with some NEW paper I got at CKC.  The paper is GCD as is that gorgeous flower and sparkly rhinestones!  I especially like the dot paper...huge polka dots in primary colors: what's not to love?

Scrap "Vintage" Pictures

I've been scrapping for years but this is something I had never done...scrapped pictures of me as a child!  I hate to calle them vintage but I guess that is better than "antique!"  This was for my challenge at Scrapdango for the Interview Challenge in Crowned.  Contestants had to scrap a childhood memory, use a certain color palette, and handwrite their journaling of at least 100 words!

I love how this turned out...I may need to scan and print some more old photos!

Punky Sprouts!

I have been asked to be on the design team at the brand new Punky Sprouts!  They are a new company that makes mixed media (chipboard, acrylic, canvas)  albums based right here in Gresham!  I met with her today and she asked me to join their team!  I am so excited and can't wait to get playing with the stuff she gave me!

Valentine's Day Soap {for teachers}

I have made soap many, many times before but never for teachers so I decided it counted as my something new!  I hesitate to say that I "made" soap though...it really is just a melt and pour soap that I then add color and essential oil to.  This time it is grapefruit and boy, does it smell good! :)  I made some simple tags and tied them up in little bags for all the ladies in the office too.  Isaac made little bag toppers for his teachers but I didn't get pictures of those.  Anyway, I am hoping everyone likes them!

Something New #5.....1/29-2/4

Featured in a Newsletter!

This is something new and also quite an honor! The Scrapdango Design Team was asked to design for the February Pagemaps Newsletter! Becky Fleck has some great sketches each month and I got to design with the 8 1/2 x 11 Double page sketch! It had been awhile since I had done an 8 1/2 x 11 and it was a lot of fun!

LOST is tonight!

It is FINALLY time for Lost to start up again! We are a bit excited around here! Tadd invited some of his friends from work to come watch. I decided we need to get even more in the Lost frame of mind! Found some downloads online and whipped this up!
