I don't know where the time goes! I have had a bunch of scrap stuff going on and forget to blog! I did last week's Crowned layout for Scrapdango. It was the "bikini competition" and although they teased that we'd need a picture of ourselves in a bikini (I so would have been done!), it was really to make a skimpy layout. They gave a list of embellishments and we got to choose only 2 and could also only use 2 pp. I chose stitching and buttons as my embellishments. This was hard for a lot of people but I think I am a pretty minimalistic scrapper by nature so it was really a good one for me! Here it is: This week is the "interview competition" and our layout has to be about us. Still not sure where I am going with that one! And I need to get it figured out soon as we are going to the beach this weekend!
Angie posted some sneak peeks of the March kit over at A Walk Down Memory Lane! You're going to like this one! It has some subtler colors in it with some fabulous embellishments too! I am still playing with it but the stuff I've done was super fun!
Also working on some altered things for Concroption! Know what I am doing on one of the things but the other has me stumped! I need to get thinking!
Now to that RAK (random act of kindness for those of you new to this!) This is my 97th post and I've been blogging almost a year! So I though it'd be fun to give some stuff away! I know I have a very neat Tim Holtz mask and some other embellishments too just sitting here waiting for a good home! Just leave a comment on any post from now until I hit 100! (that's 3 posts!) and in my 101 post I'll announce the winner! Hopefully I'll do a better job at posting so you won't have to wait too long! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!
A few things to share today! The first I made at Come Play Eugene last weekend. Had a blast hanging out with Emily, Jill, and a lot of other great scrapbookers. And the drive to and from with Sta'Cee was so fun! Can't wait to do it again this spring! This was the project that Emily taught. ( I haven't quite finished the Jill project yet!)This is the second week of Scrapdango's Crowned contest. This week the challenge was to scraplift someone from their gallery and use "make-up" on the layout. (that would be paint, ink, or chalk!) Here is my layout:

Sheer Card
Here is the card I promised you last night! I made this card using the She Said kit from A Walk Down Memory Lane and this week's sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You. It was fun to play along again! I don't think I had since August! They're always such great sketches! Here's the sketch and then the first picture is of the card open and then I am showing it to you closed because it matches the sketch better closed!

Crowned
I haven't participated in any contests or challenges in quite awhile but this one at Scrapdango looked so fun, I couldn't resist. It is called the crowned pageant. This is the first challenge and it was to use at least 2 different kinds of bling on the layout. I used black bling cardstock, Kaiser rhinestones, Heidi Grace glitter patterned paper, and stickles. I also challenged myself to not use papers all from one line! So all three pp's are from different companies (scenic route, october afternoon, and Heidi Grace). Sometimes it is so easy to just grab a few papers from the same line that I think you can get stuck in a rut doing that. Here is my bling layout!
I also finished a card tonight with my Feb kit from A Walk Down Memory Lane using this week's sketch from 2 sketches 4 you. I haven't played along with that site since September! Guess I was needing a jumpstart! Just waiting for the sun to come up to get a good picture so I'll have it here tomorrow!
